Spend at least 10 minutes each and every day furthering a creative project. Craft, sew, garden junk, decoupage, crochet, cook, whatever floats your boat! I'll report what I've been doing, please join in!
Hi Kathy !!! I love the the new blog spot ...I've never blogged before !! LOL I'll be posting as soon as I catch up on the reading. I'm running with the big dogs now !
Hello, I just taped up some colunders from the garden store to use as forms for concrete mushroom caps. I bought them because they are cheap and have a rounded bottom, but dh convinced me the concrete would get in the holes even if I lined them with plastic. So that's my 10 min.
How I decided to spend at least 10 minutes each day furthering acreative project. I had fallen into a funk. And I got an idea from another part of my life. When I started saving money years ago I read a fantastic book called: "How to get what you want in life with the money you already have." In it you are instructed to carefully figure out how much you can save every month then ... (turn the page) cut that amount in half and that is what you commit to save! I usually saved more but I knew I only had to save the small amount and for some reason that was very freeing. And during a tough month, I knew I only had to save the small amount. Soo I tried it with my time commitment - Only 10 min. Since then I have completed many projects. Funny how our brains work. Taking the first step is so important. I don't count cooking or gardening since I cook everyday, and I garden when ever I can!
