Taking a mosaic class

I am taking a mosaic class at a local non profit gallery. I spent three hours cutting up dishes and glass last Tuesday and I loved it. I hope I can learn to make something beautiful. We'll see!

  1. Looking forward to seeing your creations!
Happy New Year, New England Bloggers!

Our 1-year anniversary is coming up on January 27. To mark the occasion I am going to put up a Mr. Linky on the evening of Monday, January 25 in a post marking the occasion. If you'd like to write a post about living in New England, your favorite places to visit, funny stories and stereotypes, recipes, photos of our gorgeous landscape, anything, it would be great if you would link in. I'd also like a little idea of # of participants, if you could just send me a reply.
Since I don't have emails from everyone, I'm also leaving this message in your comments, sorry for the double-up.

  2. I have a couple of books on mosaic but have never tried it. Will be watching to see what transforms. Good luck!

  4. You be good in school now. I'll be anxious to see what you make. I love mosaic. I made a large tile mosaic several years ago. It took forever. I glued it all down on a piece of thick wood. Now the dog gone thing is so heavy, I can't hang it anywhere. Can you believe it? It's really unique. I'll have to figure out what to do with it! Hate to just have it sitting in the basement.
